I was wondering how other parents feel about their child not being very physically affectionate?
My daughter's almost 2.5 and has never ever been cuddly. She often wants to come 'up' and be carried and she shows affection in her own way sometimes, usually by playing with my hair, but the cuddles and kisses are quite rare. It's nice when she gives me them because it's almost extra-rewarding to receive them but I can't help but wish I got more.
I get so jealous when I see other parents getting lots of kisses and cuddles from their kids. I never pressure my daughter into giving them to me or anyone else. I would love to be able to hug her for more than 2 seconds😂
Does anyone else here feel similarly? Do I sound silly?ðŸ˜
