Hello. One of our children just rang us saying their baby boy has an elevated heart rate today. They took the baby to the hospital as a precation
We can't contact them as signals are bad in there

The baby had their first vaccines today, I think they said 2 but my OH is saying three vaccines/jabs

Reading NHS they say at times baby can have fever

Any thoughts?

Don't search internet for advice. The parents should talk to their doctors or pediatrician for advice and that advice will be for their child. This is literally how misinformation spreads.

If they're in the hospital then they'll be in the right place. A fever though is very common after vaccinations, especially the first ones ime, and often an elevated heart rate goes with a fever. The hospital will be able to say if it's expected levels or not.

With my youngest he always reacted badly to vaccinations (still does at 16yo. He regards vaccinations as a guaranteed couple of day off school) and they did decide to do his 3rd set of injections and the 1year ones separately. (so one at a time). I'm not sure whether it was the best thing as he was regularly ill with ear infections too, and every time he had a fever they had to be postponed so he didn't get all the 4 month injections until he was nearly a year, and then he had to start on the next set...
