Worried about movements

Hi all.
My 4 month old who's following milestone typically I have this worry
Last few days when he's reach for toys under play gym and mouthing them. Sometimes I think when he's tired and starts rubbing his eyes he will have his arms raised as he's playing then suddenly will both drop arms flat on the play mat outwards. A bit like he's scared. Sometimes he will have a look of surprise on his face. He does it suddenly and He does it a few times maybe 2-3 but there's like a minute or so In between each time. I havnt seen him do this when he's on my lap tired trying to sleep or in his cot trying to sooth himself to sleep. Just under the play gym.

I'm worried after googling (stupid I know) that it would be a spasm or something. Now iv scared myself. Because it looks sudden I think.

Any one have any insight? Thanks so much

I undesatnd you. I was always worried after googling stuff. If you want to be sure, try to take it on camera and show it your hv. But at 4 months they do a lot of abroubt movments that are normal. Maybe he is just tried of trying to grab toys and so he lets his arms fall down?

@ItalianMUM89

Hi thanks for your message, I would definitely say it's an abrupt movement then a jerk or similar. I'm not sure if it's because he's tired of playing as it is quite abrupt. When he's tired of playing he just cry's or sucks on his hands...
