My 6 month old has been on purées for the past 2 weeks. She's now eating some porridge about 2 hours after her morning bottle which is 8oz and something like sweet potato carrot and apple about 5pm. Any other bottle she has during the day she's not drinking them. About 3-4 oz is all. I'd say in total she's drinking about 15 oz of milk a day. This is hardly enough for her? What can I do?

My brother in an alcoholic. Seems to think he doesn't have a problem. He definitely drinks everyday and hides it. He is up in court for drink driving soon and will definitely lose his liscense. He got let go of his job for constantly missing Mondays. He is in an extremely toxic relationship with someone who also likes a drink but she i wouldn't call her an also to be honest. At Christmas she took out a restraining order against him because he "wouldn't leave her alone" then a week later rings him asking for him back. He's been living with my parents since they broke up last and he is absolutely torturing them with his drinking. He has them up all hours in the morning annoying them. He's not an aggressive drink but really annoying and constantly telling lies. Last night he cut his arm really deep 3 times and ended up going to hospital in an ambulance to get stitched. He said he was "playing around with a knife" but it's as clear as day it was done deliberately. When he sobers up it's as if nothing every happened. My question is , is there anything we can do as a family to get him help ? It seems we can't put him into rehab unless he's willing to go himself but he won't. Please if anyone has any advice ? Thanks

When it comes to your brother, maybe it's better to call an lawyer and see his opinion on what legal way is there to help him
When it comes to baby milk, here's what nhs says:

"Your baby will still be getting most of their energy and nutrients from breast milk or first infant formula."
