Help! I've spawned jaws.

Hi,

I need some tips on surviving biting but there is some other stuff as well.

My DD (23 months) went through the usual biting stage and outgrew it, however it's come back with a vegence and seems to be in reaction to Mummy having an op and not being very well. Routine has been upset, seeing familiar people but at unfamiliar times, more time spent at nursery etc. She's also started to object to sharing toys and dislikes playing alongside her peers.

She's usually so easy going and laid back, but I'm now at my wits end after having yet another embarrassing chat with the head of the nursery .

Has anyone got any ideas at all, telling off and time out just don't seem to be hitting home.

with my currently unsettled dcs I am trying to really praise the good stuff, am going a bit ott so they get the message, and ignoring the milder not so good stuff. there are still boundries, my 26mth jaws goes straight on the step if she bites ds, and so on. It seems to work.

and lots of hugs, as she's probably missed you. Is it worth asking nursery if they can help you with whatever route you decide on?

HTH, good luck
