My son is almost 9 months and has been bunny hop crawling for about a week now. To describe it he leaps both arms forward at the same time and then his legs at the same time then does flat and then again. He can get quite far doing this. Prior to this he was rocking on all 4s for about 2 months!
ive been looking on Google and I keep seeing that it may be a sign of earlier cerebral palsy and is abnormal and should
be discouraged as it can delay pulling to stand and walking.
He seems quite strong and I don’t think there’s any tone issues and he’s developing fine in other ways. Sometimes I thought he preferred one hand than the other but then he uses the other and that disproves that. He can transfer things between hands, has a good pincer grip etc.
Birth was normal as well.
Just wondering if anyone else had any similar experiences and their baby went on to crawl normally/walk normally?
and some reassurance really! Thanks
