DDs behaviour around BFs daughter

Have had a close friend for over 15 years, we are very close and speak daily. Recently she has moved back to the area and we have started to see each other in person more which has been so nice and is really helping me get through a tough time.

We both have children, hers slightly older then mine, one of her children has behavioural issues. They are a lovely child and are lovely to my youngest, very protective of her and they place nicely. However, friends child screams, shouts, hits mum, throws things in temper etc.

I'm not saying my DD is perfect, she is far from it, however I do find when we have met with friend my DDs behaviour is uncontrollable and she will also scream at me and hit me which is not something she will ordinarily do.

I can't go round without DD as there is no one to have her. So how do I manage this?

How old is your DD? Do you have a DP/Dh and can you socialise with your DF and leave them in charge of your DD?
