Hi, I think I just need to vent out my frustration at this point. My daughters sleep habits are so awful just now and I'm drained with it. She takes at least an hour to go down for her afternoon nap, then I have to wake her so it doesn't interfere with bedtime but I don't know why I kid myself because it does anyway even when I do wake her! Her first nap is about 10am usually till after 11 then I try get her down about 3pm so she can sleep until 4. LOL at myself because she's still awake now a whole hour after putting her down for said 3pm nap. I seriously have no time for myself as it is especially when she is refusing naps and not going to bed now until nearly 9pm as a result of not napping until late:( I'm just having one of those days!

I don't think this is a regression but just a sign you should push the morning nap later so to 11 so she'll nap longer and only have 1 nap a day?

This is not uncommon and what my youngest was down to by 8 months. One nap a day of 2 hours is fine.

I don't know if your concern is babies sleep or your sanity though? Of course loads more free time when they have 2 naps but all babies are different
