Can anyone give me any advice on this element of my daughters behaviour please.
For context, with people she knows she is extremely confident & fun loving but is painfully shy with others.
Just watching her at a soft play she was happily playing but as soon as another child came over she hides her face, lays on the floor or cries- very extreme reactions to everyday interactions. She will come over to me in floods of tears saying someone has upset her but Ive watched the whole thing & they just came up behind her on the slide- as an example.
Any ideas how I can help her with this?
