Hello

This may sound like a silly question, but yesterday there was a dramatic shift in my son - the day before he was a happy go lucky boy who had his moments, but yesterday and today he is angry all the time, hitting, getting frustrated easily, throwing tantrums for the slightest thing and telling us to go away (not sure where he got this from?

This behavior has continued today with more vigor - not sure if it is the terrible twos or just a bad few days (he doesn't seem ill but is teething somewhat and his dad has been away for a week and just got back?)

I would appreciate any wise words and the best way to handle it - I usually walk away from mini tantrums, but not sure what the best thing to do is now as he get so worked up...

Many thanks

my ds was like this and has now come out in terrible cold i can always tell when something is on its way as his mood turns terrible and he becomes such hard work last 4 days i havent wanted to get out of bed in morn

this morning he is back to pleasant loving little boy

i would say he is maybe coming down with cold and teething wont help give him some calpol and see if it helps

i would say ignore tantrums as long as you knopw he is not in pain i would give him calpol and settle with him to read a book and try to disract from having tantrum could be his way of getting your attention to let you know something is wrong

Thank you so much - i maybe thought it might be that he was sickening for something but looks so well - fingers crossed that is it and not our life for the next 12 months! I have given him capol a little while ago and he seems a little calmer - poor DP was so looking forward to seeing DS and got this warm welcome after being away....
