Nursery drop off

My daughter is 3 and has started in recent weeks to resist going to nursery, once she's there she is fine but as soon as I press the buzzer to get in she starts crying and putting her arms out for me to pick her up, she kicks and screams and I can hear her as I walk down the hallway it's awful.

my partner (her dad) took her in this morning and she was absolutely fine. Walked in no issues and didn't look back. It's not possible for him to take her everyday as he's usually at work at drop off time.

why is the difference in behaviour so different between me and dad? It makes me feel awful 😢

We had the same. You need to make it possible for Dad to drop her off. She is only little just do it her way.

He can't unfortunately he works an hour away and starts at 8 which is her nursery drop off time. He was only starting late that day because his car was in for an mot
