TV and Baby

My little girl is 9 months old and we do occasionally have the TV on in the background. She doesn't watch it but does occasionally glance at it and interact by clapping along. I have since been told that it is bad for her development and we should have it off until she is 2.

Any advice or do any of you have the TV on or see it as a problem? Any advice would be appreciated as I am a first time mom and an anxious person.

My baby sometimes has literally about 10mins of dancing fruits just whilst I wash up in the morning. There’s only so many times I can stick her in a jumperoo, she’s crawling so I don’t ever leave her unsupervised atm.

I personally don’t think 10 mins would harm but that’s my opinion. You got to think there are screens everywhere. If you went to a relative or friends house would they turn the tv off. It can’t be helped sometimes xx
