6 year old daughter no longer seems to want cuddles with me

I used to have a really close bond with my little girl and she would always want to be around me and want cuddles etc. I’ve noticed that she no longer seems to ask or want cuddles with me or wants to be picked up but regularly goes to her dad for cuddles and I’m feeling pretty sad about it to be honest. Unfortunately my job has become very demanding just lately which has affected the amount of time I spend with her and means my partner does more of the childcare and I’m wondering if this is the reason why. Has anyone else gone through this? Maybe I’m over thinking it? Changing jobs isn’t an option unfortunately.

I think from what I have seen with my nephew he is constantly flitting between mum and dad. I think they also realise the impact it has sometimes has on the other parent so will also do it for a feeling of control if that makes sense.
