Bit of a difficult situation that we are in. My daughter, 2 almost 3 has been attending a nursery and has been really happy until recently.
The manager of the nursery brought her 13 year child into nursery on the child’s day off from school a few weeks back and on the day we went to pick up our daughter we find her in floods of tears and terrifed. The staff didn’t say anything until we questioned them further to find that our daughter is terrified of this girl, I don’t mean hiding behind legs scared, more like nightmares ever since, refusing to go nursery, crying and trembling at the mention of this girls name.
The staff are trying to say she’s like it with all new adults but as her parents we know this not to be true as she was very confident before that day.
Not sure what to do as it’s a very awkward situation as we would have to say something about the managers daughter if we were to say anything and we don’t want her missing time with the other children her age.
Anyone been in a situation like this and any opinions on how to navigate this are welcome 🙏
