5 month old not looking for voice/sound

My 5.5 month baby is most of the time not turning her head or eyes to sounds. If I talk, make funny noises beside or also further away from her, she seems to not hear me, her hearing test was good. (did oae and recently AABR). She occasionally reacts to sudden loud noise. Also if I make sound with rattle she usually doesn't look. She is also not making much sounds yet. When did your baby reliably, visibly react to sound, your voice?

My baby is 8 months but I can’t remember when he started properly reacting to sounds. Sometimes when I say his name he’ll turn to me, sometimes he’s busy bashing toys together and doesn’t react. I don’t think it means there’s anything to worry about. They’re just so curious at this age and there’s so many things to look that are probably more interesting than our voices etc.

She is now a naughty 16 month old and she can hear very well. She started consistently react to sound etc. at about 6-7 month. She is also imitating sounds, interested in different sounds, voices and saying her first words. I would say not to worry too much (I know that it's easier said than done) and give the baby some time. And in case the concerns stay, consult your doctor and do some check up.
