Worried about 15m development

Hey!
so I’ve got 15month old twin boys
and I’ve got slight concerns about twin 2
he’s always been later hitting his milestones compared to twin 1

things he can do:
wave
clap
high 5
can action nusery rhymes e.g wind the bobbin up
starting walking recently
pretend play e.g talk on the phone
responds to name
has good eye contact

things I’m worried about
he’s isn’t pointing
wont follow a point
he babbles a lot but doesn’t say any proper words yet
When he gets frustrated he will have a big tantrum and scream (although he is quite chilled usually)
if i ask him to do something he doesn’t really understand apart from come to mummy or if I ask him to feed me.

a random thing I’ve noticed is since a baby he always plays with his hair when he’s going to sleep or if he’s chilled out on me as a comfort thing, does anyone else’s child to this?

sorry for the long one I’ve got an older daughter and she hit all her milestone dead early walking at 9 months and talked very early on so can’t help but compare him to her and his twin brother!
just hoping to hear from others who toddler was late hitting milestones but caught up eventually and turned out fine, thank in advance 😊

This all sounds quite normal to me, I have a 3 year old and one similar age to your twins and both mine hit a lot of their milestones towards the latter end of ‘normal’. I imagine it’s very hard not to compare with twins. Did you have a health visitor around 12 months? If you’re concerned you could ask for them to come again?

Agree with @Ghostface333 totally. Were there any concerns flagged up at the 12 month check and did the HV use the 12 month Ages & Stages.

If speech and understanding is a concern, how does he do on this SLT progress checker?

Thanks both for messaging back!
they had an early check at 10minths and she said she wanted to see him at 12 month to check if he was crawling(which he was) xx
