FTM. Is hand flapping a sign of autism in babies or is it an excitement thing?

It’s normal - they flap their hands when they’re excited or for any number of reasons. I think it’s too early to notice signs of autism. A lot of things that are ‘signs’ are just normal things babies do.

My son is 15 months and occasionally still flaps his hands iv seen lots of kids do it some older than mine some younger, as said above sooooo many things are “signs” of autism but again sometimes it’s just normal things babies do .
my son does many odd things and I have definitely worried about him at times but he also has a massive list of positive things he does that make me not worry :)
