SALTs - what speech difficulties could a child with tongue-tie have?

Ok, from perspective of SALT who works with adults (adding this as disclaimer) I can comment on the phonology/phonetics.
/r/ is made with a retroflexed tongue so maybe, but then lots of kids without tongue tie have it so maybe not.
/f/ for 'th', unlikely to be to do with tongue tie as /f/ is a labio-dental (teeth on lips) sound.
Lisps vary...but if can make a hissing snake noise then should be physically able to make the sound.
Where are you in the country? Regional variations likely?

Pruners, I'm no expert but my mum, my brother and I are all tongue-tied. None of us have any speech difficulties.

Both my children said w for r, and f for th until 4+. In fact ds is only just 4 and says things like

fweet (sweet) not that we have them in this house of course
glubs
lellow
and lots w/r words (sounds run into one another iyswim)

If someone can make /t/, you can change that to /s/ by teaching to keep tongue in same place and let air hiss through.
tbh Pruners, I have no idea if you can/should get help with it.... it's been a long time. Expect local SALT could advise you though. We're a friendly lot and would likely answer your questions if you gave your dept a call.

dd has grown out of it (irrc during Reception class, ie, age 4/5) and ds is still doing it 50% of the time (he was 4 last month)
