Global Development Delay or Learning Disability

Is anybody any to explain if there is a relationship between these two terms? Would a child who had GDD be assumed to have a learning disability?

Bumping for you .

I’m not sure, tbh, but logically think that GDD might mean learning disability only if IQ is affected. If not, then possibly not.
sorry, not a professional, just trying to answer it.

Nope.. they are two separate things. Plenty of children with a global developmental delay wouldn't have a learning disability - some may have learning difficulties particularly at the younger end of primary school.
