My typically developing 18(almost 19) month old has been displaying some troubling signs that he may be having sensory issues.
The thing is, this came on pretty rapidly, almost at the same time as having viral illness. He wasn't bothered by any of the things before.
He now has an extreme aversion to sleeves, the must be up at all times, he also HATES wearing jackets, when 2 weeks ago he was completely fine. He screams the house down over a jacket. He also now HATES taking his clothes off or getting changed, he hates being naked and must have a top on, unless the sleeves are short, he will roll them up. He went through a week of hating having anything on his hands, they had to be wiped.
As this viral illness is passing, things seem to be getting better however the sleeve thing has stuck.
I have researched Pans (my 5 year old has pandas) but i feel 18 months is pretty young. Differential diagnosis is SPD, but this just seems to have come on so quickly.
Anyone ever get to the bottom of they the change comes on so quickly?
