Anyone else? What to do?
every time my nearly 3-year-old goes to the toilet, she messes around. She takes forever to get the step to go onto the toilet. When on the toilet, she plays about with all the tissue and refuses to wipe even though she knows how to. She will not pull up her knickers or trousers up or down even though she knows how to. She swings her body around and hangs off wash-basin. Then she plays a games in the loo, refusing to wash her hands but won’t leave the bathroom until she does wash her hands, playing with soap etc etc etc.
she often won’t let me help her and screams if I try.
Any idea what is going on here? I’ve tried it all but every time we go it’s the same. Yes I do sometimes walk out and leave her, which leads to a massive massive meltdown which sometimes I don’t have time for if leaving the house etc.
