Speech impediment at 3 ?

Can you tell if your child has a speech impediment at 3 or is it still developing speech?

My child can't roll his r sound but I don't know if this is age appropriate?

He pronounces it as w and also struggles with ell sound ? Also says w.

Virtually all children still have some (or quite a few!) incorrect speech sounds at three, and 'r' and 'l' are particularly tricky, so I really wouldn't worry. https://www.ghc.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/CLST-When_Children_Learn_Sounds.pdf has a good chart of when different sounds usually appear. Your wee one sounds like he's doing just fine!
