Wondering if anyone else’s baby/toddler has cruised for months but no signs of walking or proper independent standing?
DD is almost 15 months and been cruising since about 11 months. He will stand independently for short periods (maybe 10-20 seconds) whilst clapping etc but then plops back down onto his bum. Does he need to be able to stand independently before walking?
His speech is going mad at the moment so I can only assume he’s working on that, can say about 20 words and starting to put 2 words together. Signing a lot as well.
I only ask as nursery want to move him up to the next class as otherwise he is ready but he does need to be able to walk. Feels like he has been cruising forever!
