Hello all.

My 3 month old dd not moving legs anymore. As a newborn when we tickled her feet she would pull her legs away. Doctors haven't mentioned anything and when she was a newborn nothing was mentioned, husband says not to worry but I am worried. It's hard not to. I had a very difficult pregnancy and an even worse labour with emergency c section. She's my second born and is very much a grumpy baby compared to my first. She's not great with tummy time and just wants to be held a lot. Should I have cause to worry? Any advice will be appreciated.

Didn’t want to read and run. I can understand those worries as I had post natal anxiety and probably still do to some degree.
Does she seem floppy in any way/head lag when pulled to sitting?
I would go to the GP, or if you have the means, go privately to a paediatrician which is what I did with my son when I had some worries to avoid waiting the waiting times and feeling worried.

No, she sits up and is very strong, and she's very alert, have made appointment with doctor this Tuesday, hip scan came back perfect, she's 15 lbs already all through breastfeeding, which I thought I'd never be able to get as far asvdue to cesarean and another surgery needed during labour. Just can't figure it out at all.

Hi @Mwats2 ,

just checking in to see whether you’re ok and got any answers regarding your little one?

Hi thank you. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with a neuroblastoma that started in her stomach and grew onto her spine, so after surgery she is now receiving chemo. She was born with a lump on her back. the hospital did not check up on it, even though I asked them over and over again to look at it and asked them what it was. It felt hard and so unnatural to me, like a knuckle. They told me, it was the way she was lying in the womb and it was a fatty deposit. Anger is not the word.
