Hi everyone,
I am in a bit of a panic, my son has just had his 12 month check (he is 12m 2 weeks) and he failed the communication, problem solving and social skills areas. The health visitor is going to reassess him in 3 months time and if he isn’t scoring ok he is going to get referred for further assessments for autism.
Has anyone else had this happen and it all turned out to be fine at the next check? He is doing some things I’m concerned about like shaking his head from side to side sometimes and rather than babbling like a baby he makes noises and has just started making like growling noises.
I am just so worried now 😢
