Anyone’s little ones mix up words quite a lot… for context she’s two, and speaking pretty fluently in sentences. She never used to, but I’m noticing she’s pauses a lot to say what she means incorrectly…. So she asked me to get under the toy box, instead of the table (both white). And she asked to turn off the TV, instead of chicco (the light night bear). Just wondering if this is a normal step in development, as she can say the right word but sometimes just picks out another one that’s incorrect.
