My friends dd fell and chipped her front tooth at nursey today. Dd is ok but mum is devastated. She's going to the dentist in the morning. There must be lots of toddlers out there with chipped teeth...... what happens and what can be done??

dd is 22 months and has had a chipped tooth since before she was 1. i am vague as to when as i have no idea how she did it or even when [bad mummy emoticon]

it is only a little bit chipped, hardly noticable and actually looks quite cute if you happen to be looking that hard

my ds now 2.5 has both front teeth chipped slightly.I thinnk(can't quite remember when it happened) it happened when he was 1.5.Causes no problems at all.I am just glad it wasn't his permenant teeth!
(also have dd age 5.5 who lost her front tooth completely aged 4-fell and landed with her teeth on someoenes head)still has a gap now.

My 2.10 DD has a chipped tooth at the front. My MIL is a pediatric dentist, and said it was absolutely nothing to worry about.

My niece split her baby front tooth and it had to be removed. She was told that this might have some affect on the development of the adult tooth, but that had grown fine.
