9 week old feeding too often?

My 9 week old baby really struggles to go more than 2 hours without feeding. Only on the odd occasion when we're out or sometimes at night he goes for longer.

I have tried distracting him or seeing if there is any other reason he is crying eg tiredness/nappy changing etc but he won't stop crying until we give him a bottle (he is formula fed).

He is on 5oz as 4oz is just not enough to fill him up and will keep crying.

I really want to try and get him to go longer between feeds as I feel like I'm over feeding him and would love more sleep at night 😰 any advice??

He has reflux but that has gone now he is on anti reflux milk. He has been this way since he was born always wanting milk!

Does he finish the 5floz?

Yes he does, I've tried upping the feeds to 6oz hoping it will make him go longer but it didn't and it just seemed to make him too full and uncomfortable!

That's an interesting one as usually the advice is to offer as much as they'll take so that you know they've had enough.

Does he show any other signs of discomfort apart from the regular feeding?
