Looking for some help regarding my 5 month olds short naps.
She sleeps through the night and has done since she was 3 months, but her day naps have always been a struggle. We darken the room when she starts to get tired, use Napper, do a mini bedtime routine and place her in the bed awake but tired which she does fall asleep by herself, we also use a blackout blind and red light/pink noise machine
But without fail she'll wake up between 35-50 mins and most of the time wide awake from every nap.
As the day goes on she gets more overtired from short naps but I fail to get her back to sleep when she wakes even with rocking, it's getting exhausting honestly and I just need to know if this is something they'll grow out of or to know why she is sleeping great at night but awful during the day

DD1 was like that. Slept 12 hours at night reliably from 6 weeks, but naps at 5 months were short. I always felt I'd have rather she woke once at night but then had a good nap during the day.

What I did was just persevered with putting her down and gradually we fell into a routine of a short sleep in the morning, and a longer sleep in the afternoon. About 8/9 months she dropped the morning sleep and then would sleep 2-3 hours in the afternoon, which was bliss!
