18 month old waking up for milk

My 18 month old LO still wakes for milk twice a night. I know it's a habit because it's always around the same times. I guess he wakes three times for milk including the milk before midnight. I saw something about mixing milk with water, how do I do this? He eats very well during the day.

I really need to sleep properly now, it's getting out of control.

TIA

Hello.
I mix milk with water every evening because my LO has low iron and milk does interfere with iron intake. I do 90ml milk+100ml hot water. If he wakes up more time during night I reduce the amount of milk and increase the water (eg 40ml milk and fill up to 200ml with water). He never complained:)
