my LO has been waking up nearly every hour/ 1.5hours through the night for the last six weeks. I'm at my wit's end and exhausted as I also have a 20mnth old DS to be there for. I'm just confused as he doesn't seem to want food and is happy to have a dream feed at 11pm followed by his next feed at 7am. It's just the mutliple night wakings when he'll start grizzling. I have to get up, comfort him for a minute and he's off again. He's been poorly with bronchiolitis and is still just a little wheezy but we're definitely over the worst of it. Could it be this that's causing it (his cot is propped up and we have a humidifier)?. Should I not shush pat him when he wakes and try to let him settle himself, even though I worry he'll come into a full waking state? sorry for long dithery post

is he teething?

What happens if you leave him to grizzle for a few minutes? I leave my DS to see what happens, as sometimes he'll put himself back to sleep after a minute or so of whinging(other times he decides he wants feeding).

hello again

thanks for your advice. It never occurred to me that he might be finding teething this painful (DS1 found teething a breeze so the whole episode passed me by first time round!)I gave him some powders last night and he only woke up once
