15 month old in toeing when walking

Hello,
My 15 month old DS has recently learnt to walk on his own in the last 2 weeks. He lacks a bit of confidence, but is getting so much better with walking.
He does all the usual things like standing up on his own, cruising etc. Not delayed with any milestones.
We’ve noticed that he turns both of his feet inwards when he walks and he seems a bit bowed legged too. He seems to get his feet caught up and he trips sometimes. So we took him to the GP.. I have hip problems and have had surgery and I am very hyper mobile so I wanted DS checked for those things. She thinks his hips are fine, but he is very bendy (he can still get his feet to his head and sometimes in his mouth 😂quite comfortably) especially in his ankles and thinks this might be why he turns his feet in when he walks. She wasn’t overly concerned and said that referring him might be overkill, he could and probably will grow out of it, and he now has started to walk on his own, but I am glad to get him checked by a specialist.

Even so, being referred has made me worry about it and I think it’s my fault. I just wondered if anyone has had any similar experiences with their Toddlers and what the outcomes were?

Thanks 🙂
