Aaaaargh! Where can I put ds (4.5 months) to nap safely?!

Usually he has a quiet zizz in his Britax Rock-A-Tot carseat whilst I get on with stuff. Today he's figured out how to jackknife & slither out of it!

He's a 20lb, 9 month clothing age wearing monster & VERY strong...

Heh! The thing is he still tends to catnap quite a bit...not terrifically keen on the notion of plonking him in his cot every time he falls asleep for 20 minutes after a bf.

The problem is that he's so huge...I'm sure a normal sized baby of the same age would be kipping quite happily in a carseat, but ds has just discovered that if he arches his back he can rock the chair sufficiently to deposit himself on the floor!

Otherwise how about his buggy or cot - he might sleep more soundly anyway.

My ds2 very large had to use his travel cot during the day for catnaps he was out of his car seat and moses basket very early

Well, we were terribly 'in' and put dd2 in a cot in the living room, to stop dd1 tramping all over her. Makes your house look dreadful for a while, but that stage is soon(ish) over. Can you get a cheap s/h one from somewhere?

Ds used to sleep in v-shaped cushion on sofa after conking out after bfs. Then he started waking up as soon as tried to put him there so started putting him in his cot. Maybe try buggy if he doesn't like cot?

Mmmmm, might have to be the travel cot. The problem with strapping him into a carseat or lying him on the sofa is that I tend to quietly deposit him in his seat, snoozing, & tiptoe off to get other things done!

He's ALSO just figured out how to wriggle off his playmat & scoot off across the floorboards...am feeling very proud but also a bit 'bloody hell, as if it's not hard enough to get the washing done!'
