Advice needed on 3 month old

Please can someone advise on what I should be doing/flagging at this age?

I know everyone will say you can’t tell if a child is autistic at such a young age but should I still be raising ky significant concerns?

DS does not look at faces, does not respond to voices or sounds (other than jumping at loud noises), is not interested in toys and does not track them other than for a second or 2, smiles randomly rather than in response to us, cannot be calmed when held or in response to my voice.

I can’t see this being anything but signs there is a bigger issue but guessing no one will take me seriously yet?

The not being calmed one might be a concern but could easily be a myriad of things, including reflux and CMPA.

If you are concerned, have you done the 4 month Ages & Stages?

@SiouxsieSiouxStiletto Thanks for your reply, interestingly in the past week we have had some green stools and mucous in his poo. Not sure whether this is as a result of an infection or possible allergy though. We have done the ages and stages and he doesn’t score very well 😞but sightless reassured that he is only 3 months and 13 days old today and it’s right up to 4 months 30 days?

It is right up to 4 months and 30 days, you're right. If there are more than a couple of grey areas I would probably mention it to your HV though.

If he's a bit unwell and having gas and green poos, does it sound anything like CMPA?
