My 6 year old cannot entertain herself.
Every now and then she will play by herself but it never lasts for more than half an hour.
We go out every weekend to do one or two things but as we are in the middle of those activities/visiting people, she will ask what we are going to do after it.
She also had a Sister (3 years old), who will happily play on her own for hours at a time. They will play together but the eldest gets bored really quickly and just wants me to entertain her or play 24/7.
Is this normal for a 6 year old or am I doing something wrong?! I'm quite an "indoors" person and really enjoy my own company and space so I find it really hard being asked to do things constantly.
Any tips??
