5 month old suddenly bringing up milk

Hello,

After some advice, previous experience. I have a 5 month old who has never had reflux, on the very odd occasion may spit up a bit of milk. 2 weeks ago she started bringing up milk after every feed, after a few days took her to the dr who said all looked fine and I could either give her baby gaviscon or keep an eye. I decided to keep an eye on her and typically after the drs she stopped bringing anything up, now about a week later its started again. Shes fine in herself but is showing signs of teething, could this be down to teething as so unusual for her. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

I have similar with my 5 month old I am wondering if it’s because of teething x

I spoke with a HV who said it was unlikely but you just never know, back to not bringing anything up today so god knows what the cause is! Thanks for replying

Did you ever figure this out? My little boy is 5 months now and is doing the same. He never suffered with reflux but is now spitting up after almost every bottle. We're pretty sure he's teething too and he started refusing bottles about 3 weeks ago. He's also not drinking quite as much as he was

Hey @NatiBarden97 sorry only just come across your messasge! In my daughters case it lasted for about a week or 2 and then ended, think it may of came back randomly for another week but that was it. Never got to the bottom of it and didnt change anything so mustve been a phase. She also never cut her first tooth until 7 months so not sure it was anything to do with teething. Hope your LO has come through it now xx

We've had a rough month I'm not going to lie! First he was spitting up, then had a cold and quite a nasty cough, then the heatwave and now finally we think his teeth are starting to come through (at last!) as we can see 2 little lines on his gums.

We never really found out what caused the spitting up either, that kind of just stopped not long after I posted on here. Babies are strange little creatures!

@GeorgesMummy5224 aww bless him hope hes ok now! I found my daughters first teeth she would get awful colds with them before they cut through. As shes got older (16months now) the colds dont happen anymore, just clingy and whingy! They definitely are strange little beings.
