Concerned about 17 month old's development - Autism? ADHD?

Hi all,
I am concerned about my little boys development and as he is my first, I really don't know if my concerns are valid.
He's a darling little 17 month old. LOVES mummy and is always giving me kisses and cuddles. He's not walking yet but is getting there. Freely cruises around, takes a few steps etc. He is making progress.
In terms of speech, he's pretty ok. says dada, uncle, aunty, grandad but still doesn't call me mama. however, he's counting to 10 and can identify numbers. he knows all of his colours and knows about 80% of his alphabet. he's kinda pointing, claps, waves hello and bye, gives flying kisses and can follow simple commands. he has lots of words. he doesn't say yes or no to wanting things, but can sign for more and 'all done'. he's interactive and has decent joint attention. his eye contact is decent and responding to name is probably about 40%. he knows the actions to lots of nursery rhymes etc
my concerns are this: he stims a lot. when he's excited he kicks his legs and open closes his hands and makes a 'oh oh' sound. he does it a LOT! it's usually when he's excited but sometimes i feel like he isn't even excited and still doing it. he's really hyperactive and is always moving. putting his head down like he wants pressure and loves to just wrestle. sometimes i also feel like it's hard to get his attention and he's in his own world.
what do you think?

If you're concerned at all @Jpan, I would ask your HV to do the 18 month assessment.

It's a somewhat unusual pattern of development, but that can go either way – in many children it's just a baby/toddler quirk and all averages out, others go on to need extra support in some way. In addition the ASQ @SiouxsieSiouxStiletto linked to, this one is aimed more at social-emotional development and might also be worth doing: https://www.socfc.org/SOHS/Disabilities%20Mental%20Health/ASQ/ASQ%20SE%2018%20Months.pdf.

The thing that stands out to me is the numbers/letters/colours, particularly relative to the rest of his speech – that's something I'd highlight to the HV. That level of number/letter recognition at this age is definitely tending towards hyperlexia, which can be a sign of autism (but can also just be a bright quirky toddler), and it sounds like it's maybe come before he has much functional language. How would he tell you he wanted to go out in the garden? Draw your attention to a big dog he's just seen? That he's hungry?

How do you feel the balance is between 'he's interactive with decent joint attention' and 'he's in his own little world'? Children this age don't have the capability to split their attention the way we do, so a certain amount of being absorbed in play to the exclusion of you and everything else around them is developmentally expected – but most toddlers also have a pretty intense drive for interaction, so you'd expect a lot of time where he does want someone's attention.
