Baby keeping dummy/pacifier in all night!

My LO is 10 months old and recently had her first 2 teeth come in. Naturally needing more comfort especially at night time she has been keeping her dummy in most the night and even if it falls out once she falls asleep she will wake up whinging/crying looking to put it back in her mouth. She only uses her dummy for naps/bedtime to help her fall asleep and usually would just spit it out when she’s asleep. But I’d say for last month almost she is wanting it a lot more during the night. Is this just because she wants/needs more comfort to soothe her to sleep due to teething? We usually apply teething gel before or just after she has fallen asleep so she doesn’t wake up in any pain from teething. I don’t want want her becoming this dependant on a dummy especially as I would want her to stop using one before she turns 2. Thanks for your help in advance.xxx

I'd say it probably is teething as mine is doing the exact same at moment and is the same age. He just had first 2 pop through and I think the dummy is just a comfort because of the itchiness of the gums. I don't want him needing a dummy aswell after 2 so am interested in replies from people with older children
