Somebody please help and tell me I'm not going insane! Currently my 15 month old is going through a faze where he's just screaming!! I give him attention, I play with him, I've tried telling him no, I've tried doing something different than screaming and trying to turn it into laughter but nothing works, he is constantly doing it and it gets so stressful and I I don't know how to make it stop, has anybody else ever had experiences with this sort of behaviour and done anything differently 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

What kind of screaming is it @mamamof1? Is it for attention? How's his Speech & Language generally?

I think it's attention, sometimes when I'm doing something or talking to other people but mostly in general I'll try and play with him or talk back to him or make him laugh but he still does it and laughs when I tell him no😭 it just gets very frustrating sometimes 🥲 the scream literally goes through me! His speech is great and he picks things up so quickly he's very clever

Honestly, I would ignore it completely, difficult though I know. Only give him attention if he's not screaming.

He does sound clever, how did he do on the progress checker I linked to? I found the behaviour with both of mine once they could communicate their needs better Wink
