When do the 'terrible two's end?

I have a rather high maitnenace 30 month old daughter. To put it bluntly I'm at the end of my tether. Her behaviour is appalling I've posted here before to say sometimes I think I hate her - that's how bad it has gotten.

I have gone to the hv to check whether her behaviour is actually an issue (i.e. is there something wrong with her) and have told that she will grow out of it.

That's all well and good. But when is she going to grow out of it.

Please tell me the end is in sight!

they don't!!!

they morph into the trying threes, fabulous fours, farty fives (thanks to school giving them toilet humour), silly sixes, stupendus sevens, evil eights, naughty nines....and so on and so on until they hit the terrible teens !!!

but the tantrums to get better when they are reasonable with....for a more sensible answer

about 3/4ish depending I think on the ability of the child to listen to you and understand.

my girls were better than my boys for listening, but only becuase they could stand still, unlike the boys who would run and jump.

Ah, a dd will grow out of them just in time for the teenage strops to kick, buta ds, well they never really get past that stage

I'm sure if I died right now. I would go to hell and it would be filled with children having screaming tantrums and whinging.

Hope I am not alone.

its a bit like the colicky period. At some point you will fall on your first glass of wine after lo has gone to bed and realise that you went through a whole day without a (serious) fight!
