Logic is telling me there’s no need to worry, but you know how it is ladies.

He’s a little over 6 months and he can roll from front to back, or he at least does 80% of the time, we just don’t do tummy time as often anymore as he’s now sitting perfectly fine unaided and has been for the best part of a month.

He just isn’t rolling yet back to front and showing no signs of even trying. Before he could sit he did often try but never got it and seemed to just give up. He does go over to his side, grabs his feet, grabs all his toys, can lean forward and gets back in to a sitting position great.

He isn’t my first but my first was so desperate to master everything and was such a mover that I’m not used to this! Nothing to worry about, right? 🥴

Hi I wouldn’t worry. Kids are all different and start things differently. He will master it soon 😊

DD1 was cruising before she bothered to roll back to front. I used to wonder if she'd fall and get stuck on her back like a turtle. She was desperate to sit and walk, and just not bothered about rolling. He's developing other gross motor skills, so I wouldn't worry – it's probably just not his priority.
