Potty training - how much time off work?

Hello - DS is in full time nursery as I work 5 days a week. I am looking to take some annual leave to potty train him. How many days will I need to take off roughly? An entire week? He is almost 2.5 and can communicate well and is aware when he needs to pee and tends to hold it in on the few occasions I have attempted to train him.

The nursery’s sometimes help with potty training maybe discuss how they can help but also he is still young so if he is ready then you will know and it will be easy. If not it may be a challenge and more time might be needed

Nursery won't help at all. This is the problem. I think I need to really get it going at home first so was wondering how much time I should take off work.
