Choosing a high chair

Hi all, FTM here nearing the stage where I need a high chair. There are so many out there and I don't want to buy something crap and have to buy another like I have with many other items!

I was thinking of getting the IKEA artihoppe high chair and getting a nice cushion for it off Etsy - some of them are so garish out there. But it doesn't fold, is that important?!

Another piece of advice I've received is Stokke but bloody hell, 200 quid and above?!

Any help would be much appreciated.

We had one that folded and I hated it, it was bloody massive. If I was choosing now I'd go with the IKEA one.

You might be able to find a few old threads on High Chairs in the Weaning Section.

Good luck and take plenty of photos Wink

Cheap IKEA one is great if baby if good at sitting, and super easy to clean. Had these for our first

We have coassatto 360 which I love. We don't really use the tray and just have it pushed up to the table so baby eats with us. Loads of support if not a great sitter and doest have legs poking out so not constantly kicking it. Quite expensive though but worth it as can just use it like a chair at the table for ages cause the height is easily adjusted.
