Hi, just after some advice really. My son is 2 years and 3 months. He goes to nursery and does a long day on a Wednesday so is always tired when he comes home. He never seems to sleep more than 1 hour there but sleeps 2 when at home. Every wednesday once he goes to bed he will wake about an hour later hysterical. Whatever me or my husband do will not calm him and he will trash around like he is possessed. It normally goes on for a good 30 minutes before he eventually snaps out of it and falls asleep. Whilst he is having an episode he is sweating and shouting mummy and trying to grab my hand but then smacking me away at the same time. It’s as if he can’t see us. Could this be a night terror? My husband just says he’s over tired but I think he’s having night terrors??
