My 6.5month old DS hates being on his tummy therefore has not learned to roll/crawl. He has just learned to sit by himself which he loves and is very sturdy reaching for toys etc. He also loves to stand and weight bear on his little legs, will he ever crawl or just get up and walk one day! I know I am a pushy mother!

Lots of time, bunny! Average crawling age is between 6 and 9 mths, average walking is up to 19 mths. Chill out! My ds crawled at 8.5 mths anf walked about 15 mths btw.

Make the most of it. It's much harder work when they are into everything.

My DD (now aged 12!) was like this and learnt to crawl from a sitting position. She kept leaning forward until she got on to her knees then just crawled. She was about 8 months when she crawled. Suggest you make the most of him not being mobile - you will need eyes in the back of your head when he is!

Thanks for messages, I am quite happy with it as have not made the house child friendly yet!
