Rolling over

My 7 month old hasn't rolled over yet... online says it's a issue ..
He sits up, grabs toys, hates tummy time but I do it....
Do I call my HV or GP?

I'd call the HV and ask her to book an appointment to do the Ages & Stages Assessment. You can fill it in and ask her to mark it.

At this stage, even if there any concerns, she'll probably just adopt and wait and see approach. If it was me, I think I'd be pushing for another assessment in 2 months.

I'd also do this SLT Progress Checker and see what it says.

It is probably nothing but it's best to get them checked.

My DS didn't roll either and is ND but is doing really well.

Let us know how you get on Flowers

My DD didn’t roll over until 8.5 months, crawled at 10.5 months and walked at 15 months. She’s a perfectly wild 3 year old.. doesn’t always mean it’s a problem but no harm in speaking to a HV if you’re worried!

My DS didn't roll over until 10 months, a couple of weeks before he started to crawl and he was then pulling himself up to stand at 11 months.
I spent hours doing tummy time and putting him on his side to help him roll but he just wasn't interested in it.
Don't worry about not rolling at 7 months.

I agree that you shouldn't worry too much but it's definitely a milestone and you should bring it up with your HV Flowers

Thank you all, my first was rolling at 5 months so feel bad I'm comparing the second to him!
Going to focus on tummy time and rolling for the next 7 days and if I don't get progress I will just call the HV to get a check in

I wouldn't worry.

Dd1 didn't roll until after she crawled at 10 months. I don't think she saw much point and was quite happy lying on her back. Once she crawled, then she saw the point of rolling over so she could crawl, so did so.
