I'm struggling with finding an appropriate way to respond to my 4.5 year old who is getting increasingly rude / cheeky / back chatting / pushing every boundary he can.
More often than not I tend to react and snap at him, shout, make threats. By threats I mean consequences eg 'if you keep doing that I will take it away' etc
Anyone got any strategies? I feel like I'm not handling it well. We always apologise and repair. I just feel I should do better.
