DS falls asleep on bottle

My DS is 19 months and has always, from being a few weeks old, has always fallen asleep on his bottle. I think its about time he came off his bottle and had it out of a sippy cup (or even better, an actual cup, but i know that's adventurous!)

Any ideas, I THINK (she says hoping) if i gave him his milk in a cup, he would just fall asleep when he's tired, but i cant be sure, is it just a case of bite the bullet and see?

He also has a bottle in a morning and aswell as milk on his cereal, im thinking that should be a sippy cup too right?

Any help would be nice

xx

my dd is 2.3 and still has a bottle at night. i would try to stop the falling asleep on the bottle rather than removing the bottle all in one go. but it may be a hard slog. i am thinking of trying to get my dd to drink it from a cup rather than a bottle. but she has a routine and the bottle is part of it.

if you are really brave, then try using a cup, but then you have the added extra of the falling alseep on his own too.

oh i dont know, i just wanted to let you know, you are not alone
