Private Glue ear/grommets for under 3yo

I’m hoping someone can recommend a private ENT consultant/hospital in the UK who will perform grommets operation on an under 3 year old.
We’re in Scotland, but will travel UK wide, and the private consultant we’ve spoken to will only operate on over 3s. This seems to be the case in most places but I have read on these threads of some people managing to get grommets done privately on their under 3 - where is this??
I know this is possible on the NHS but we’re still on waiting list for NHS hearing test never mind grommets op so really keen to get this done privately ASAP as it’s having a really negative effect on DS’s speech, etc.

If you are willing to travel, my two year old niece has grommets fitted privately by an ENT surgeon at The Manor in Oxford, the actual surgery was performed privately at The John Radcliffe, so all the facilities of an NHS hospital.

I think the surgeon was Mr James Ramsden.

Hi @Lalamother, may I ask if you ended up travelling down to Oxford, or if you found another private hospital in the UK that will perform surgery for under 3's? My son is in the same boat, saw a paediatric ENT last week in Edinburgh but unfortunately no private hospitals in Scotland operate on under 3's. :(

@cheeseandcrackersboom Hello! After much research, I discovered that Leeds Spire Hospital will treat patients under 3, not too far a drive from Scotland! We saw the ENT consultant there called Mr Kelly, he was great and the hospital was also excellent! DS got grommets in and Adenoids out.
