bad language

My 4 yr old has just come out with the "F" woed. She obviously does not know the meaning and my husband and I have been quite careful to set a good example with language/swearing etc.- any tips how to handle this? Thanks.

Ignore it. If you make an issue of it, it will become an issue.

Just tell her gently that that's not a word you use in your family. Ignore is good advice if they are doing it deliberately to provoke, but the first time I think it is kind to let them know that they shouldn't.
